How we engage.

Every Metellus engagement follows the same model regardless of practice. Fixed scope. Partner-led. Accountable for outcomes, not hours.

Five steps. Every engagement.

Whether we are building a pipeline, advising on a capital raise, or deploying a private AI system, the engagement structure is the same. You always know what is happening, who is responsible, and what the end state looks like.

01

Diagnostic conversation

A senior partner reviews your situation before any engagement is proposed. We ask direct questions about the constraint, the timeline, and the internal capacity available. If there is not a clear fit, we say so.

02

Scoped proposal

We deliver a written proposal with fixed deliverables, a fixed timeline, and a fixed price. No hourly billing. No open-ended retainers. You know exactly what you are buying before you sign anything.

03

Partner-led execution

A named partner owns the engagement from kickoff to delivery. You are not handed to a junior team after the sale. The person who scoped the work is the person doing the work.

04

Milestone reviews

Progress is reviewed against the original scope at defined milestones. If the work is on track, we move forward. If something has changed, we surface it immediately and agree on a path before continuing.

05

Delivery and handoff

Every engagement ends with a defined deliverable and a clean handoff. Documentation, training, and transition support are included in scope. We do not create dependency -- we remove it.

No retainers. No junior staff. No scope creep.

Most advisory firms bill by the hour and staff projects with analysts. We do not. Every engagement is scoped upfront, priced as a fixed project, and led by a partner from start to finish.

  • No open-ended monthly retainers
  • No junior analysts as primary contacts
  • No deliverables that expand without a scope change
  • No recommendations without an owner accountable for execution
